Master Chief had just awoken from cryogenic sleep and crawled out of his cryo tube and took off his helmet accepted the medicine from the tech.


Tom: Ok chief i gave you a double dose of the wake up sip.

Master chief went through several warmups and tests and when he was about to leave for the weapon diagnostics when the comm was starting up
Keys: Bridge to cryo two send the masterchief up to the bridge
tom: but sir we'll have to skip the weapon diagno...
Keys: on the double crewman
tom aye aye sir
tom: come on we have to get to the bridge
Sam: ill leave the stats up for when you get back
suddenly a door in the cryo theater was beginning to creak and melt sam punched a button and reinforced the door. over the comm sam screamed
Sam: oh god, there coming in through the door... Security intruders at cryo two!!
suddenly the door burst open... melted
plasma bursts started screaming as they sizzeled through metal and hitting stations. sam ducked right in time but didnt jump fast enough to avoid the other plasma bolt as it hit him in the chest he screamed as the bolt hit him
Sam: NNNOOOO!!!!!
Tom SAM! cmon we have to get out of here!
tom punched in a code and a door unlocked it
they ran down a hallway but masterchief stopped at some maintence tubes while tom kept running he stopped at another door and was about to type in a code until the door exploded killing tom. master chief jumped over the tubes and followed the signs to the bridge as he got there the captian turned to master chief.
Keys: good to see you master chief things are a bit hectic but cortana did her best. the pillar next to the captians screen sizzeled and a small purple female shape appeared. we still are outnumbered 30 to... make that 40 to 1 my subroutines are up and the cannon is warming up. suddenly there was a large explosion
Keys: REPORT!!!
Cortana: the explosion was inside im guessing a covenant antimatter charge
Crewman: Ma'am the controls to the main cannon are offline
Cortana: captian the cannon was my last offensive option
Keys: alright thats it were abandoning the autumn. Master chief this is your part get cortana off this ship. if the covenant get a hold of her theyll know everything. deployment, weapon research,... earth.
Masterchief: understood
keys typed on a panel and gave him a chip that contained cortana and a M19 pistol
Keys: i dont keep it loaded so youll need to find ammo on the way.
